But I had a good time. At lunch, I had my family with me. We went to Perkins since it was my choice. *glares and pouts* I hate the fact that they don't have Dr. Pepper, but I wanted breakfast at lunch. Apparently 6 of the 7 did of my family. Mom had lunch, but it was nice. Then after breakfast/lunch, Mom and I went to Publix. Had to get cake. I could pick between a pumpkin and Frankenstein. Since orange is one of my three favorite colors (points to anyone who can guess my other two), I picked the pumkin. It was choclate cake which was fine w/ me. I was in the mood for chocolate. *nod nod* We went home and my family and I had cake. Everyone sang happy birthday. It was good and bad at the same time considering it was off-key. The cake was good. There's still a slice left. Hmmm... I think I'll pick at it later. Around six or seven, my niece, Alexis was begging Barbara and David to go trick-or-treating. I wonder if she likes the fact that my bday is on Halloween and that my relatively safe neighborhood has next to no trick-or-treaters. Alexis came home w/ a half a bag w/ just a couple of streets. That's what's what happens. When I was her age trick-or-treating, there were a lot of kids trick-or-treating. Huh. More for her. For my birthday, I got $50 dollars from my mom, a Jack and Sally t-shirt from Tara, and homemade card by Alexis. *giggle* In the card Alexis made for me, I'm playing the guitar. If you know me, you'd get it.
Tuesday, since Crystal couldn't join me for Perkins becuase she had work, we went to Macaroni Grill. It was pretty decent. We both more or less had the same dish, Alfredo. I had chicken and she had in plain. It was fine though. I dragged her Target then because I had $50 dollars to spend. Well, more than. I got six CDs and a book. The six CDs consisted of:
and the book was J.D. Robb's Kindred in Death. I loved the book. I just finished it last night. It had me going in some areas of the book, but I'm not saying why for those who want to read that fantastic series. *laughing* Crystal had told me that I looked like a kid in a toy store. *laughing* Well, I knew what I wanted because I had made a list the night before, but I bet I was.
